The role:
As Vet Support Admin you will be responsible for supporting the FirstVet vets and vet techs in 6 different markets (UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and the US) to deliver their remote consultations in the best way possible.
You will be part of a global team that values hard work and having fun together. We cover 24/7, always supporting each other and making sure to see the best of the business. With us, customer service is extremely important and we attach great importance to your communication skills.
This is an hourly contract role between 10-50 hours per month with a strong need for flexibility. The number of hours may vary from month to month, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable stepping in on short notice when needed. The ideal candidate will enjoy an ad hoc schedule and be open to adapting their availability to support the team as required.
The role will start with a training schedule which may span mornings, afternoon, evenings or weekends for 2 weeks, then transition to the schedule when training is finished.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates in the following states:
Wisconsin, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Delaware & New York.
Responsibilities:
- Provide acute scheduling support to the FirstVet vets in all 6 countries. This involves adding breaks for our vets, moving appointments, seeking cover for sick leave, monitoring the platform and adding additional vets when demand is high and liaising with customers when needed.
- Ensure our global platforms are appropriately staffed out of hours.
- Provide administrative support to the OOH Team Lead, Staffing Coordinators and Global Operations Manager e.g. helping with the base schedule, adding flexi shifts, assigning shifts and updating company documentation.
- Monitor and handle operational emails out of hours.
- Ad hoc administrative projects within a growing team.

Education and experience requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Technician and/or experience working in a veterinary clinic in a practice management role is highly valued but not mandatory.
- These are fully remote roles, and candidates are expected to be proficient in using digital tools both for communication and work tasks, such as scheduling and spreadsheets.
- A humble personality with positive attitude and willingness to help

- Ability to navigate and prioritize among wide variety of work tasks
- Fluent in English
