We break down friction in the pet care continuum by making affordable, on-demand vet care accessible by allowing pet owners to instantly connect with licensed veterinarians via their smart devices. We’re looking for a proactive and analytical Business Controller to join FirstVet’s finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of our budgeting and forecasting processes, provide data-driven insights, and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to support strategic decision-making. Your Responsibilities:

· Lead and develop our budgeting and forecasting processes

· Analyse business performance and provide insights to support strategic decisions

· Build, improve, and maintain pricing, cost, and marketing models as well as key KPIs

· Drive the preparation of quarterly and shareholder reports, as well as other key internal and external financial reporting

· Support management with ad hoc analysis and projects

· Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate reporting and financial alignment

· Drive the continuous improvement of financial models, mainly in Excel and Google Sheets. Experience with Abacum is an advantage.

Desired Qualifications:

· Relevant university degree within business or finance.

· 2+ years of working experience, preferably from an analytical position in-house or consultancy company.

· Proven experience in business controlling, including forecasting and budgeting

· Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently

· Excellent Excel skills; experience with Abacum is a plus

· Solid understanding of accounting principles (but no need to be an accountant)

· Comfortable working cross-functionally and building strong relationships with stakeholders

· Confident, self-driven, and unafraid to challenge assumptions or take initiative

· Experience from e-commerce or tech-driven scale-ups is considered a strong plus
