FirstVet is the first truly digital veterinary clinic. We let pet owners meet with licensed veterinarians via their mobile, tablet, or laptop. As our Global Operations Manager, you will lead the daily work of our team of Operations Coordinators and Staffing Specialists who, together with the local Leadvets and Global LeadVet Manager, are responsible for a total of 400+ veterinarians globally.

You will work together with your team of Operations Coordinators to make sure that our team of veterinarians feel a strong sense of belonging to our FirstVet community, that our agreements are up to date and that we’re staffing in accordance with local rules and regulations. You will work closely together with our Business Analyst on staffing KPIs and report to our Head of Veterinarian Operations.

This role is a full-time position, remote with the occasional travels to our HQ office in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Global Veterinary team together with the Global Lead Veterinary Manager and are measured on KPI’s such as eNPS and general employee satisfaction.

• Personnel responsibilities for our Operations Coordinators and Staffing Specialists

• Building and maintaining Global operations coordinator team structure and spirit

• Performance management of Operations Coordinators & Staffing Specialists

• Responsible for implementing scalable workflows and global policies in order to ensure quality and efficiency for the team and its processes

• Work together with the Global Veterinary team on creating a global and local vet community within FirstVet

• Operational responsibility for all staffing related activities such as scheduling of the core service as well as adjacent services for all the markets

• Responsible for delivering towards set KPI’s i.e. utilization rate, shift fulfillment as well as following up on the process

• Overall responsibility ensuring high quality in the veterinary agreements together with the legal team and Head of Vet Operations

• Ad hoc administrative projects within a Vet Operations Team

The person we are looking for has:

• University degree within a relevant field

• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience, preferably within HR or a similar position within a staffing and recruitment company or high growth, fast-paced environment

• Experience in team management, preferably in an operations team

• Is an executor and not afraid to be hands-on with tasks

• Tech-savvy and always seeking to make tasks and processes more efficient

• Experience in managing agreements

• Ability to navigate and prioritize among a wide variety of stakeholders

• Excellent English skills are required as you’ll be working with a global team
